Bernd langeheine biography books

Bernd Langeheine is a senior consultant based in the Brussels and Cologne offices of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Mr Langeheine’s practice focuses on EU antitrust law.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Langeheine was Deputy Director-General for Mergers of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) until 2014, where he oversaw the European Commission’s enforcement of the EU Merger Regulation during Commissioner Joaquín Almunia’s tenure as Competition Commissioner.

Before his appointment at DG COMP, Mr. Langeheine served as Director for Telecommunications Policy at the European Commission’s Information Society and Media Directorate-General between 2002 and 2011. From 1999 to 2002, he headed the General Policy unit at DG Com.
