Herby Widmaïer died Thursday morning at his private residence, at the age of 84 years.

Founder of Radio Métropole in March , with the help of his wife Micheline Widmaïer, Roland Dupoux and Bob Lemoine, Herby Widmaïer was a legendary figure of radio in Haiti "With him the country lost one of its great sons."

President Jovenel Moïse :
