Smangele Mathibeli (nee Mbatha) is a South African Actress and Radio Personality. born in KwaZulu Natal South Africa in 1982 .[1] She is best known for the roles in the television serials such as; Imbewu, Yizo Yizo and Zone 14.[2] She is the CEO of the Calvin and Family Group.[3][4]

Mbatha was born in 1982 in Soweto, Diepkloof, South Africa.[5][6] She matriculated from high school in 1999.
Then she enrolled for a degree in art management and audiovisual communication from University.[7]
She is married to Calvin Mathibeli, a businessman.[8][9] They married in a private wedding ceremony, in of Phuthaditjhaba, Qwaqwa celebrated in December 2014.[10]
